Women in Clubs Luncheon 2026

The inaugural Women in Clubs Luncheon brought together an incredible group of women from across South Australia’s club industry for an afternoon of connection, conversation and celebration at Kooyonga Golf Club. From volunteers and committee members through to managers, leaders and industry professionals, the room was filled with inspiring women passionate about the future of clubs and the communities they support.

We were honoured to welcome Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, along with an outstanding lineup of speakers and panelists including Kelly Nestor (MC), Sue Dewing (Sturt Football Club), Dani Cuff (Harrison McMillan), Kylie Christie (Kooyonga Golf Club), Susan Keylock (Sandy Creek Golf Club),  Cassie Wilmot (Goolwa Surf Life Saving Club), Renee Kennedy (Millswood Bowling Club), Rebecca and Lucy Willson from Bremerton Wines, and live soloist Piper Wallin, whose performance created the perfect atmosphere for the day.

Guests enjoyed a two-course lunch, Bremerton Wines, engaging conversations, meaningful networking opportunities and powerful stories shared throughout the afternoon. The event highlighted the important role women play across clubs every day, often behind the scenes, helping clubs thrive through leadership, dedication and community spirit.

A special thank you to Six Foot Possum Photography for capturing the day so beautifully, and to Indy Rose for the stunning floral arrangements that added something truly special to the room.

We also extend our sincere thanks to our valued corporate partners and supporters whose generosity helped bring the event to life through sponsorship, prizes, contributions and ongoing support of women in clubs across South Australia.

Thank you to every guest who attended and helped make this first Women in Clubs Luncheon such a memorable success. We look forward to continuing to grow the Women in Clubs network and creating more opportunities to connect, empower and celebrate women in our industry.
