SafeWork SA – Raising the Bar on Safety Webinar

Rhys Braybrook, Clubs SA Workplace Relations & Policy Manager

On 18 February 2026 SafeWork SA presented a webinar sharing information on and findings from their “raising the bar safety campaign” that has been focusing on pubs, clubs, bars and taverns across SA.

Members were notified of this webinar via a bulletin and could register to attend, however if there was anyone who wished to view the presentation but was unable to do so, SafeWork SA has now made this available to watch here.

The webinar will be very useful for a club looking to better understand their WHS obligations and the webinar mainly covers:

  • The most common safety issues uncovered from the campaign
  • What compliance looks like under WHS laws
  • Simple ways to reduce risks

Additionally, members can view this site for more information on the raising the bar safety campaign which also has a link to a pubs, clubs, bars and taverns self-assessment tool.

Clubs SA members can also access several useful WHS templates on the Clubs SA members only site and can also contact Clubs SA where they have any WHS questions.

Lastly SafeWork SA also has a free advisory service available for businesses and an advisor can be booked in here
