On The Road with Our Membership Operations Manager

Over the past few weeks, our Membership Operations Manager, Justin Liu, has been out visiting clubs across metro and regional South Australia – listening, learning, and celebrating the community spirit that makes our network so special. From the historic heart of Tailem Bend RSL and the friendly greens at Tailem Bend Bowling Club, to the family-focused charm of Colonel Light Gardens RSL, it’s clear our clubs are thriving hubs of connection.

Down south, Aldinga Bay Bowling Club, McLaren Vale Bowling Club, and Willunga Bowling Club showcased welcoming facilities, quality coaching, and vibrant social bowls – perfect for first-timers through to seasoned players. Along the coast, Henley & Grange RSL impressed with its relaxed atmosphere, live music and community events, while Morphett Vale RSL highlighted mateship with Friday-night meals, live tunes and no-pokies hospitality. In the CBD, the Dom Polski Centre demonstrated the power of culture and community with versatile spaces and a lively calendar of Polish and multicultural events.

These visits reaffirm what we already know: Clubs are the heart of their communities – supporting veterans, families, volunteers and locals with welcoming spaces, active programs and genuine hospitality. We’re proud to stand alongside every club and continue strengthening the services, training and advocacy that help them shine.
