Barista-style coffee without the barista: meet the ILC Y211

Good coffee has become something members expect, whether they’re in for a morning meeting, a bowls day or a counter lunch. The tricky part for most clubs is delivering it consistently without tying up a staff member behind an espresso machine or relying on whoever on shift happens to know how to texture milk.

That’s the problem Essential Coffee’s newest automatic machine, the ILC Y211, is built to solve.

The Y211 grinds fresh beans for every cup and uses fresh milk, so what lands in the cup is a proper flat white or cappuccino, not a vending machine version of one. Drinks are selected on a 10.1″ touchscreen, and anyone on your team can make one with no barista training.

A few features make it a good fit for club venues:

• Three operating modes. Run it in self-service mode in a function room, gaming lounge or members’ area, or switch to professional mode behind the bar where staff are serving.

• Two bean hoppers plus a powder container. Offer two different beans (a house blend and a decaf, for example) along with hot chocolate or chai from the one machine.

• Plumbed or tanked. Connect it to mains water or run it from the 4-litre tank, which is handy if you want coffee somewhere without plumbing.

• Compact footprint. At 380mm wide, it sits comfortably on a bar or bench and runs off a standard 10-amp power point.

The Y211 is available to lease from $63.50 per week* or to purchase outright, and it’s backed by Essential Coffee’s own service technicians and customer care team.
